I’ll list this right here

Screen: Mentioned many times the screen is amazing. I wish the quality was set higher employing qHD or better.

- Dual Core Processor/16 GB Storage/SD Minute card: Compared to every other Android Device I’ve used this thing can be a speed demon. It has 16GB connected with storage and an Facts slot. Check.

- 8MP Camera: I’ll list this in this article. Megapixels don’t mean everything. Samsung did a nice job using the optics and rendering about the camera app for this particular S2. 1080P video recording will be okay. It’s almost on par which has a cheaper point and shoot camera I managed to get almost two years in the past that does 1080P. You might be pretty impressed recording video and with the grade of the pictures given good lighting plus a steady hand. If you’re trying to capture something more than 15-30 feet away with respect to the lighting conditions or while you are moving and panning around or recording sporting events you’ll still realize who’s doesn’t perform well enough to switch an HD camera or even HD camcorder.

— *Hardware Cons* —
I don’t like the power button is opposite the quantity buttons. It sometimes leads to accidental presses with the button on the opposite. There have been a few times when the phone has been on silent/vibrate mode, I hear the mobile phone vibrate, pressed the button to check on the message, put the phone out, and then I hear the next message because I accidentally hit the quantity up button. Also, it is true the phone does get warm. It doesn’t get so hot who’s affects using the mobile phone. I would say who’s gets alarmingly warm. I only experience this particular if I’m using polling GPS while streaming data over 3G or using the Wifi Hotspot feature.

— *Hardware Neutral* —
- Home key/button can be a physical button. This was definitely different than any other Android mobile phone I’ve used that had capacitive buttons. I liked it for your convenience of not always needing to press the power button to show the display on. This was something I grew familiar with doing by pressing the trackball about the Nexus One and the property button on the i phone, but Samsung was definitely not helping their case inside their disputes with Apple and I speculate it may well partly be the reason the us versions all use the original capacitive buttons.

- Plastic material is fine for me. I’ve noticed some minuscule abrasions that occurred about the rear below the battery pack cover before I purchased and received my circumstance. It’s not noticeable. I just feel that there is always some sort connected with compromise between weight, scratch resistance, ruggedness, etc when OEMs work with different materials.

- It lacks a search button. I sometimes miss the comfort of not having to press the menu button to search through Gmail and other applications. However, I understand it was sacrificed for your physical home button making the device more one of a kind. Also, because this only provides 3 hardware/capacitive buttons vs a lot more common 4 button configuration practically in most US Android devices I will be not sure how this particular phone will incorporate a few of the newer features of Operating system 4. 0 such as software management. That is when/if that is updated to Android four. 0 (see gripe beneath)

- Well, this thing is a phone. Call quality is great for me using AT&T. It’s not great. Reception is probably a 7 or 8 from 10. The speakerphone is merely okay. The sound seems thin if you ask me. I never had any complaints about bluetooth pairing/connections out from the box aside from employing a couple headsets I afterwards faulted after realizing these folks were crappy refurbishments. I also haven’t any experienced any difficulty with data. My service won’t come anywhere close to the theoretical speeds on your device(not its fault).

- Out of your box battery life is suitable to last you each day. Evening/overnight charging is required like nearly every other smartphone used moderately each day for phone calls, web surfing, checking email, apps, etc. Don’t expect to manage to do substantial video playback/streaming or gps without access to a charger. I’m a corporate mobile phone user and IT Director of my company. Black Friday

I’m a corporate mobile phone user and IT Movie director of my company. Consequently, I actually oversee the cellphones for our company and get the opportunity to try out a lots of good phones. To date, the Atrix has been the most effective I’ve ever used (that includes iPhones by the way). I don’t dictate what exactly phones our users carry because I observe that as a personal option; I just make suggestions in respect of which phones work best with our backend systems. Because of this openness, I see almost each and every high-end phone that hits the market at some time. The Atrix has been the most effective up until the recent release of the Atrix 2! Both are excellent phones.

I use AT&T Premier to manage our phones and one of the benefits is I from time to time get new phones prior to actual release date; that was the case while using Atrix. I got my face to face mine a week or two prior to official release and We have nothing bad to say over it. When it first produced, there were a number of annoying limitations that possibly AT&T or Motorola got implemented. For one, they had disabled the conventional Android side load feature plus the other was a limitation around the hot spot feature that caused it to only work once the phone had a 3G link. A subsequent firmware up-date removed both issues. Neither issue was a serious concern for me (I possibly could still use Android ADB to be able to load apps and My business is almost always in the 3G area when I must use the hot spot) and so i was very happy while using phone and even more pleased with later improvements. The only other somewhat negative attribute of the phone to me was that this back plate was very slick when i first got the cellular phone. I’m a person exactly who basically never drops the phone but I dropped this place twice early on since it was so slick. My previous phone was the Nexus One that had a rubberized think and I had to get used to the Atrix’s case. Again, not a major issue; I mentally and physically adjusted towards the phone and haven’t lowered it since. Plus, over time, the back has gotten somewhat scuffed which resulted inside nullifying the slick component.

I didn’t read the rest of the reviews here but Used to do notice that the vast majority of key features are included, system specs and this kind of. I’ll try to steer clear of repeating stuff that was already covered and give people my impressions and responses with a negative comments I’ve viewed concerning this phone. At the time I am writing this, I’ve been using the product for well over 6 months and know it adequately.

This phone is a fantastic phone and before release, was in my judgment, the best Android phone on the market… possibly even the best cell phone on the market. Obviously, I haven’t used each and every phone available but of those unfortunate that I have employed, the Atrix takes the very best spot. The specs of the product were a step above everybody else at release there are been an excellent cellular phone. The call quality is excellent and operation is smooth and intensely robust. I have a bad ear and still have struggled for years to find a phone that is loud enough for me to use comfortably; this has been a problem for me pretty much ever since the industry switched over to digital cell phones. The Atrix is the primary phone I’ve had in years i have no problems reading; it is quite loud enough for me to use comfortably. And other than both the issues I listed above (that have been corrected), this has been the best phone.

Some people complain concerning the camera on this cellular phone. I find the camera to be perfectly adequate. I don’t buy a phone to its camera and there’s not really a phone now available that doesn’t have a camera that could satisfy me. I know others set more stock in cameras than I truly do and that’s their prerogative. The phone takes great photos and the video is quite good as well. I have no complaints here.

I’ve heard people complain concerning the battery life of this phone. Well, the battery life is actually one of the areas where this cellular phone absolutely shines! I’ve been using smart phones for a long time and as long as they’ll cope with a full day without dying, I’m satisfied with them. Every smart phone We have had and/or setup or supported in recent times has had to be charged every day (with one exception besides the Atrix). This is usually the shock for feature phone users who manage to get their first smart phone because feature phones can typically run for several days on one charge. The difference is that smart phones are constantly updating online throughout the day which often drains the battery and quite a few have massive touch screens nowadays that also drain this battery; so, you pretty much should charge them daily. Very few will run all day and night and most will die some time before the 24 hour level; but I regularly get 36 hours of life away from my Atrix and that’s without the need for the night saver method. I still usually charge it each night, but when I ignore, I don’t worry excessive because I’ve only completely ran it dry once or twice since I’ve had it. Most of the time, it’s still running when i plug it in at bedtime the other night; that’s roughly 40 a long time! That’s pretty awesome from the smart phone. Keep in mind that battery life is completely dependent on how it truly is used and each person could have a different experience however I can say certainly that this phone has one of the best, if not the very best, performing battery on the market industry.

However, I have helped several people who complained about the battery life within this phone and they weren’t exactly wrong within their complaints. What I found is that if you do not fully charge the phone when you first get it, before initializing it the very first time, whatever your battery level is right at that moment you set up the phone is definitely the max you’ll get out of it. The phone apparently assumes the product is fully charged when you arrange it and the battery administrator uses that initial charge level because the base level for the 100% charge. This may have been corrected in the later firmware update. But using the initial firmware the product shipped with, if the phone was at 40% when you arrange it, it would show 100% following configuration was complete you need to counting down from presently there. I have read reviews from other users who suggest that the battery manager will adjust itself over a number of charge cycles. But if you will charge the product to 100% before people configure it, I’ve found that you may not encounter this issue. If you already made this mistake, you can correct it by charging the product overnight and then perform a factory reset (Settings/Privacy/Factory Data Reset) even as it is 100% charged.

(Notice: Performing a factory reset to zero will erase everything around the phone; you’ll lose any texting and call history and anything else that you don’t have backed up some place else, including apps. I find resetting an Android phone becoming a simple task because I’m able to quickly reload the apps I prefer and I don’t really care if i lose old texts or the product logs. My contacts and e-mail are all restored when I reconfigure the product. There is always a period of reconfiguring apps in addition to custom settings that can take a little time but I don’t find it to be much of an hassle. You should be aware of what will happen before you decide to do a reset in addition to make a backup if you’re concerned about losing anything important.)

Another area I see people pay about this phone would be the screen. They usually compare it a great iPhone and say it looks washed out or something along these lines. It doesn’t look just like an iPhone to make certain; but the screen looks great in my experience. And the automatic backlight settings management on this phone is superior to any other I’ve at any time used; most of the time I turn them off and manage the settings manually because phones usually do a real poor job managing this brightness themselves; but I leave this Atrix on automatic and never have a complaint. I’ve compared the Atrix a great iPhone while outside in bright sunlight although I’ve never seen an LCD succeed in this situation, the Atrix does seem to be more usable in sunlight in my experience.

Review By Charles W. King:
The console arrived within two boxes. One (console)weighing within at 98lbs., and the second (fire box) weighing within at 38lbs. The console arrived totally in pieces with all screws and parts needed to put it together. The instructions I wouldn’t normally rate for a beginner when they are not well available. It took six hours that will put the console together yet everything was there plus the wood was not linens board stuff you typically find at IKEA. Once put together it is just a very solid piece of furniture, but I was concerned after i saw the IKEA type screws to hold on to certain sections of the actual wood together. The firebox is all one piece and slides into the finished assembled console with a wood block and screws to keep it in place. I found this to still maintain your firebox loose and added two small wood screws facing the back of the firebox to help keep it more snug. Once it was all setup with my telly components I plugged within the fireplace and turned it on. The heat unit works great and may nicely supplement the heat within the winter for this just one bedroom apartment in Portland, Oregon. The flame and log functions all work excellent although I was disappointed that the logs didn’t better resemble more red coals burning around the logs with instead being the same colors as the relationship (yellow/orange). It was not worth taking everything apart to send it back, but a better close-up picture in the flame and logs could be great for future customers. Overall I am happy about the size and dimensions with this console/fireplace. However, next time I pay this type of price for something similar to this I will buy just one assembled and working prior to I make the buy. I give this product a four star rating with the wood, glass in the doorways, and the solid construction after ıt had been assembled.

By C. Kennedy “BookReaderCaC” (Indy):
First off, I would like to point out that I shopped both online and to get for an electric fire for months. When I finally decided on this one, I still thought hard about it for weeks before When i actually placed my buy. This is the very first time that I have ever ordered furniture online and I was very tense about not seeing the goods before making my buy, but the other opinions had me convinced plus the price was unbeatable any place else I looked (such as Big Lots). So I ordered it, and I have had it three months now.

Shipping:
My new media console and fireplace found my house (in Indiana) just one or two days after I located my order. It arrived in two very large, very heavy packages. One package contained the materials to the console itself and one other, which had “FRAGILE” written in large letters across ıt had been the electric fireplace. There are many different pieces to the cabinet itself, so I recommend doing what Used to do which was opening the actual box somewhere with lots of room, and laying out each piece to ensure everything had been included (and to ensure nothing had been harmed). Everything that was said to be included was there and intact.

Assembly:
Obviously, the console itself must be assembled. The assembly wasn’t difficult (as i am a 25 yr old woman who did it by myself), but it is time consuming, taking about three hours to perform (although I required my time). The hardware didn’t seem cheap in my opinion and every major piece is match several wood dowels that can help guide the pieces collectively perfectly. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND PURSUING THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER AND TAKING YOUR TIME!!! The pieces are built to go together in an exceedingly specific order and once they have been locked together, it is almost impossible to look at them apart again. This means that should you forget a step, you could be within big trouble. The instructions aren’t tremendous descriptive so read twice to make sure you understand what what you are doing. There is an optional support piece which is supposed to go down the middle of the shelf to help prevent the top piece from bowing when you have a somewhat heavy television. I would recommend adding it in during assembly when you have a tv any larger than about 36 inches as i have already seen one review where the person didn’t use the actual support piece, and his did bow beneath the weight of his television. Once it was accomplished, I was however pleasantly surprised by how sturdy it was once it was constructed.

Product Review:
I did want to say that the firebox by itself isn’t as deep because cabinet is. This makes for a nice place in the rear of the unit to put your power strip for your entire electronics to enable you to place the cabinet flush up against the wall without leaving an unsightly gap between unit and the wall membrane. It was a enjoyable surprise. As I mentioned prior to, most of the main pieces of the unit are real stained wood and people that are not will still be stained well to match the genuine wood pieces. Occasionally I go on the entertainment stand with lumber polish, which brings out the actual nice espresso color within the wood. The unit itself is usually a beautiful, uniform color and is extremely sturdy considering that ıt had been assembled. I love the cupboard space and width in the unit.

If you want a fireplace that seems like real fire, get a real fire. I spent a wide range of time looking at these after i was shopping around and contrary to some the reviews, I think the fire looks better than lots of the electric fireplaces that I’ve seen (including several nice hotels that we have stayed at). I’m sure that many people do make more realistic electric fireplaces, but you won’t find any with this price, I’ve looked. The fire consists of varying shades of orange and orange, but to me, the movement of the flames is approximately as as realistic seeing that any I’ve seen. The brightness of the actual logs can be adjusted and also the brightness/level of the fire, which is nice when you’d like the fire to seem low or if you are trying to watch a movie around the tv and you tend not to want the brightness in the fireplace to be distracting. I have a fairly small lounge room, so I can have the heat from the heat tank on the couch if it is at medium setting, but I could notice where it probably wouldn’t heat a bigger room by itself. In my case nevertheless, the space heater within the unit adds a nice warmth to the room (sometimes as well warm). The remote control means that you can change the brightness in the logs and the fire, and to turn the actual heater off or with, but the thermostat to the heater must be adjusted around the firebox itself.

After three months of obtaining this product, I must say that I am in love with it. With all of the actual features, I really feel like I got lots of “bang to the buck”. It adds a quite welcoming glow and warmth to my lounge room and I get compliments about it every time I include company. For the price, definitely five stars.
